Well, we have decided! Cayo Espanto off the coast of Belize will be our honeymoon destination. Cayo Espanto is a tiny private island just a few feet higher than the surrounding flats with seven small villas on its shore. It is world renowned for its impeccable service, cuisine, beauty, intimacy, and romance.

Each villa has its own private dock, pool or whirlpool, and butler service. We will have complete access to the flats for fishing, kayaking, sailing, and swimming. We will have access to a half day private charter to fish or snorkel in the famous Shark-Ray Alley. And of course, access to the spa for massages.

All of our meals will be custom tailored to our tastes. You see, shortly after booking, we receive a survery asking for our favorite food and ideas for the “perfect meal.” There are no restaurants on this tiny private island. Instead, meals are prepared by the island’s chefs, and, delivered by your butler to your room, dock, hammocks, or pretty much wherever else you may choose.

This trip will be one of the most luxurious experiences of our lives. The intimate level of service, attention to detail, natural beauty, and privacy has all of the makings of an amazing honeymoon.
