The water was so clear. Hello, turtle! Our tent on Saturday morning. It was 27 degrees! But that tent was cozy warm inside! It was so cold, the lighter froze!
So did our drinks. They were frozen! What I aspire to be...a Withlacoochee Queen!!! Our group heading into a beautiful passage of water, the temperature was brisk but pleasant.
This is nearing Rainbow Springs. You can see patches of clear water as we got closer. Chad in his kayak, heading to Rainbow Springs. See how clear the water is! What a perfect day!

Rainbow River is still worth the trip to Dunnellon. What a paddle!
